First time Mt Cootha!!!

Hey guys! 
So if you've been reading my blog then you'd know that i usually cycle on sundays, unless im either sick, being super lazy (cause its cold outside) or if i've just slept in cause. well. thats me! :D
But there was the Brisbane Marathon today..So the bicentennial bike way was shut off and so..what route do i take?!~?!?! 
well, my cousins smacked me in and 2 other guys in the face with the Cootha Challenge
AND GUESS WHAT. 
after a grueling 30 minutes, i made it up the flipping mountain!!!
it's probably one of my biggest milestones and well, now, i can't bitch out on any hills anymore cause Mt Cootha was a constant 9% incline up to the top and it was pretty crazy!

i still kinda think that 1535 calories was a miscalculation considering that my cousin who rode with me is 85kgs and lost 1700. come on man, i'm 95 and it took me half an hour for like the middle stretch only! so i swear, it must've been at least 2000 calories! :P

so please, dont tell me that i didn't make it up Mt Cootha and say "pics or it didn't happen"...
CAUSE FUARKKKKK IT WAS INTENSE MANG.
(oh and btw, thats that the Mt Cootha Look Out so not exactly the peak; the peak is at the channel 7/10/9 one of those channels; broadcasting station!)


and well, cause everything was blocked off, we didn't attempt a full riverloop afterwards (what my cousins and mates do) so had a good half an hour break and grabbed a mocha and a muffin! 
(must say though, worst service ever!)


oh and check out the view!!! 
Although it was a bitch of ride, i guess the scenery was worth it? 
not really but gotta be optimistic!
and holy shit, riding down was so fun!! i maxed out at 70ks an hour going down that shit! was shitting my pants so hard thinking that i'd crash!


got home and dad bought me a pork gravy roll.. 
i didnt really give a shit what i was gonna eat cause:
1. I WAS FUCKEN HUNGRY.
2. I was pretty calorie deficient so it didnt really matter :/

oh and i had another pork roll afterwards without the gravy though; 
just viet meatloaf with chillies, carrot, bit of butter and a bit of jap mayo
IT WAS AMAAAAAZZIINNGGG

oh and dad ended up taking me to the bike store so i'm getting reconfigured to my bike;
list of changes happening (upgrades):
-shortening the bike stem; i was leaning too far forward so i had major back problems
-getting bike shoes and bike cleets
(instead of using one foot at a time per push per rotation, use 2; therefore being more effective)
-grabbing another bike pouch so i can put personal belongings in that



anyways, for dinner, had the same as last night; gotta be good and eat it without rice!!
(FUCK IT WAS SO SALTY)




oh and treated myself and drank the Sakuraya my sister got me :D
was considering not drinking it because of all the sugar but; IDC; I LOST ENOUGH CALORIES TODAY ANYWAY.

but yea.. that was my day and it was a pretty intense ride!
feeling so proud of myself atm! but not at the same time ;/
